TML Wireless Temperature Calibration

August 22, 2009 8:08 pm | Posted by admin

The Calibration Services Laboratory can now undertake temperature calibration and pressure calibrations using the wireless TML protocol, saving users, on average of over 14 days in calibration turnaround with the minimum of disruption. Sensors only need be supplied with their respective transmitter module and details, with the rest being supplied by our laboratory. Used extensively in the composting and seed cultivation sectors, the dedicated laboratory systems have become a firm favourite with the UK composters.

Gemini oval gear meter calibration

July 21, 2009 9:39 pm | Posted by admin
Gemini Gear MeterA recent contract award for the calibration of over 100 Gemini and Macnaght oval gear meters was secured by Young Calibration Services. The various size Gemini / Macnaught flowmeters, covering G05, M05, G1, M1, G2 and M2 models are to have multi point calibrations on the customer fluid, being a flavoured essence.
Calibrations are completed in a temperature and pressure controlled test line with repeatability, and stop / start hysterisis tests undertaken for each individual flowmeter. Units are then chemically sealed and bagged prior to dispatch and return to the customer. The company now provide UKAS accredited oil flow meter calibration from 0.6 to 280 litres/min.
