August 11, 2009 5:27 pm | Posted by admin

Anyone wishing to be involved in a interlaboratory calibration of a rotating cup anemometer, should contact Chris Lang (cl@youngcalibration.co.uk) A small rotating cup anemometer will be used for the correlation study. Ideally the laboratory should be ISO 17025 accredited.

For more information on calibration testing contact Young Calibration Services.

We have a round robin device used for our suppliers and service agents, which you are welcome to use. We have 5 years worth of calibration data from 8 different laboratories. We work on an open level basis to ensure we all benefit from each laboratories input. Could we organise a visit for our members, which would be very informative, and I’m sure would be recipricol.

Will you be looking at open jet or closed wall systems for your cup calibration comparison. If closed wall, then we will be interested in some form of co-operation, with funding availability.
