Thermal Imaging Camera Calibration

January 21, 2010 3:40 pm | Posted by admin

Facilities are now available to calibrate all types of thermal imaging cameras and infrared devices. Calibration across a temperature range of 35 to 500 °C can be accomodated using high precision radiometric calibrators. For more information on Temperature Calibration please follow the link.

Can you calibrate the Digityre IR temperature monitoring units from Beru F1 Systems, we have several units requiring annual calibration?

Greg, No Problem, we see quite alot of the Beru systems for both temperature calibration and pressure calibration.

Can calibration of my camera system be performed on site, we have fixed systems in ducts and small passages. They can be swivelled to point in different directions but would be very difficult to remove. Is your calibrator portable enough for this. There are 22 cameras to be calibrated.

I found this article very useful for a paper I am writing at university, on the calibration effects of thermal objetcs and IR cameras. Thanks

ICI, Infrared Cameras Inc in Beaumont, Texas are offering $100 off thermal camera calibration at the moment.

Can anyone provide a link to a International recognised set of data for material emissitivity values. I have completed a thermal survey and reported temperatures based on an estaimated E value, but customer requires recognised values. Any help appreciated.

Do u do calibrations of the AGEMA thermavision 570 from FLIR systems ??

    cheers

Having ongoing issues with temperature measurement using IR sensors. Does ambient light levels have an effect on the reading.

Is there a standard “E” source used for calibration of IR devices, we have used three accredited laboratories in the past 5 years and each have used a difference reference for the emissitivity source.

Hiedi, we have similar issues, when trying to measure the temperature of an aluminium surface, we get different results depending on the angle of the IR meter. We have found minimising reflection helps immensely.
