Oil Flow Meter Calibration Services |
 |
As a leading provider of oil flow meter calibration, the Young Calibration flow meter calibration facility offers liquid calibrations
over a range of temperatures and viscosities on various hydrocarbon based fluids.
Having
facilities for pulse, indicated or electrical outputs the rig
is capable of calibrating
all types of oil flow meters. The laboratory houses three
calibration rigs, with one rig UKAS accredited to ISO 17025,
and the others traceable to National Standards.
|
|
In addition to the liquid flow meter calibrations on offer, Young Calibration can provide a
range of servicing and repair options for positive
displacement and turbine type meters. The modular construction
of the rig permits quick and efficient installation with
turnaround times as low as 24 hours. Fluid calibrations
on offer include engine oils,
Jet A1 fuel, hydraulic oil, ISO 4113 and Skydrol equivalent.

OIL FLOW METER CALIBRATION RIG SPECIFICATION
• UKAS Accredited 0.6 - 300 lpm
• Traceable to National Standards
• Flow 0.02 – 80 lpm @ 25 – 140°C
• Flow 0.02 – 350 lpm @ 25 – 45°C
• Flow 20 – 600 lpm @ Ambient
• On Site 0.05 – 250 lpm
• Viscosity 0.6 – 200 cSt
Housed within the new flow laboratories at the Shoreham by Sea site, the calibration facilities
provide flow meter solutions to the automotive, aviation and hydraulic industries using series transfer and gravimetric calibration principles.
A low flow calibration rig covering 1 cc/min to 80 lpm has a four
tank capacity, allowing customer specific oils to be utilised
with the minimum of effort. This modular design enables the company
to offer quick, cost effective liquid and oil flow meter calibrations at the required customer viscosity. |
