Young Calibration supply a professional water flow calibration service with four calibration rigs offering a cost effective and quality calibration service. The Water Flowmeter Calibration Rig can accommodate many variants of flow meters employed within the industry. Covering flow ranges from 5 cc/hour to 2000 litres/min with a best measurement uncertainty of 0.15%, the facility has an enviable reputation throughout the UK.

Attracting customers throughout the UK and Europe, the two flow calibration rigs offer quick turnaround and cost effective calibrations to all users. The laboratory can offer UKAS Accredited flowmeter calibrations to ISO 17025. Calibrations are undertaken on all types of water flow meters, in horizontal or vertical orientations.

Expertise within the laboratory covers turbine, coriolis, magnetic, positive displacment, wedge, variable area, vortex and ultrasonic flowmeters.

All calibrations are undertaken to Traceable Stanadards and can be offered on as little as a 24 hr turnaround time.

The four water flow meter calibration rigs within the Young Calibration Laboratory can undertake calibrations in a range of orientations and environmental conditions. Using the latest instrumentation and software, the gravimetric calibration facility provides highly accurate and repeatable calibrations. High grade counter timers and signal conditioning instrumentation allow flowmeter outputs with varying signals to be automatically collected, including millivolt outputs from turbine flowmeters, TTL signals, voltage, current and frequency.
