To Our Valued National & International Customers – Business Operation Continues

As we strive to cope with the impacts of COVID-19, we at Young Calibration Ltd want to assure you that we will continue to provide calibration and testing services to you. We are carefully monitoring the situation and want to reassure you that we are taking this matter extremely seriously, we are actively following guidance from the World Health Organisation and the UK government.

We are currently operating at normal capacity across our Calibration Laboratory, Testing and Cleanroom Facilities and we do not foresee any disruption at this time. We have implemented our business continuity plan and as always, our number one priority is the safety of our employees and customers. We aim to provide the safest working environment possible and have implemented the following:

• Young Calibration employees who can do so, are now working from home. This includes Accounts, Administration, Sales, Quotations and Customer Support teams.
• New company procedures are being followed including disinfecting high-touch and/or communal access areas at the facilities.
• Technical employees, working within Young Calibration sites are either working in a single occupancy zone or following social distancing measures of at least 2 metres, at all times.
• Technical employees have been supplied with individual sanitisation and PPE supplies.
• Customer devices that we receive for calibration and/or testing are being treated as per our high-touch policy, especially for multiple process equipment.
• Any meetings are held with social distancing measures or by remote conferencing platforms.
• Visitations to our laboratories are restricted until the COVID-19 situation is resolved.
• Some of our non-essential onsite calibrations to be conducted at customer locations will be postponed. Please contact the laboratory to discuss options and procedures.

We are currently continuing to use DPD and DHL courier services for our shipments, from whom we receive daily updates.

We appreciate there may be further restrictions so please advise us if you do not want your devices shipped following completion of calibration and/or test.
