All rigs have full traceability back to National standards with two rigs being UKAS accredited, giving complete confidence and impartiality for your quality audits, inspections and assessment visits. The water flow meter calibration facility can accommodate all variants of flow meters and flow analysers currently in service covering flow rates from 1 ml/hour to 6000 litres/min with a best measurement uncertainty available from 0.1%.
The Calibration facility has held UKAS accreditation since 2002 and has an enviable reputation throughout the globe, attracting customers across all industry sectors with dedicated flow rigs on ultra-pure water for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to engine coolant rigs for the automotive and aviation sectors. The complex but versatile water flow calibration rigs offer quick turnaround, from 24 hrs and cost effective solutions for all customers. The laboratory can offer UKAS Accredited flowmeter calibrations to ISO/IEC 17025 from 1 ml/hr to 1000 l/min covering ultra low flow nano-flow meters, infusion analysers and HPLC flow calibrators to 100 mm magnetic, wedge and coriolis flowmeters. Liquid flow meter calibrations can be undertaken in horizontal, vertical and inclined orientations.
All our fluid flow calibration certificates are complete and fully compliant with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 reporting requirements, including water temperature, water density, water viscosity, laboratory conditions, lines of traceability and measurement uncertainty statements to allow end users to process our certificate results into their measurement uncertainty budgets. Our reference flow measurement hardware consists of primary standard gravimetric test rigs, volumetric provers and series transfer reference grade flowmeters giving a measurement uncertainty range of between 0.1% and 1.0% depending on fluid, fluid temperature and flow range.
